On June 24, 2025, AFENET participated in the national workshop on operationalizing the Pandemic Fund, organized by the Sierra Leone National Public Health Agency (NPHA) in collaboration with WHO and other partners in Bo District. The workshop marked a key milestone in moving from planning to action.
AFENET, which played a central role in writing the successful proposal, was recognized by NPHA leadership for its technical support and continued partnership. The workshop concluded with a clear roadmap for implementation, reinforcing AFENET’s commitment to strengthening health systems and emergency preparedness in Sierra Leone.
